Scott McKee
WIBC Board Member
A Western International Band Clinic staff mem- ber since 1990, Scott assumedthefull-timeposi- tion of Managing Director of the American Band College and Organizing Chairman for WIBC in 2002. In 2015, he was appointed as the CEO of Bandworld, ABC and WIBC. Scott holds a bachelors degree in music education from Southern Oregon University and a master's degree through the American Band College. He taught many years in the public schools of Oregon (Scappoose and Springfield), and is still active as the conduc- tor of the Willamette Valley Honor Band in the Eugene area. In addition to band adjudication, Scott is busy guest conducting honor groups in the Northwest and Brisbane, Australia at the Griffith Conservatorium of Music. In 2004, he was elected Associate Member of the American Bandmasters Association.
Tim Lautzenheiser

Well-known in the music education world as a teacher, clinician, author, composer, and clinician, Dr. Tim’s career as a band director includes ten years of university teaching in Michigan, Missouri, and New Mexico. He served three years as Executive Director of Marching Bands of America and is President of Attitude Concepts for Today. After thirty-plus years of clinic presenta- tions, some three million students have experienced one of his popular ses- sions. He is currently the Vice President of Education for the Conn-Selmer Company. He has served as a member of the Western International Band Clinic Board of Directors since 1985 and presents clin- ics at the American Band College of Sam Houston State University in Ashland, Oregon. In 2000, he was elected as an Associate Member of the American Bandmasters Association.
Paul Kassulke
WIBC Board Member
A member of the first gradu- ating class of The American Band College in 1994, Paul assumedafull-timeposition with ABC/Bandworld/WIBC and moved to Oregon in 2007. He previously served the Lutheran Schools in Wisconsin and Minnesota for 31 years. He has a B.S. in Education from Dr. Martin Luther College and a mas- ters degree from Southern Oregon Univ. He current- ly serves as the Director of Operations for ABC/ Bandworld/WIBC. Paul has been on staff with ABC from 1999 and WIBC since 2000 and is now the super- visor of the Honor Bands and the liaison to the WIBC guest bands. He has also served as guest conductor for Honor Choir Festivals in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Washington. He continues to run marathons in his spare time and is active as a church musician and choirdirector.
Ted Burton
WIBC Board Member
As a staff member with the American Band College since 2001 and Western International Band Clinic since 2002, Ted came on staff full-time as Technical Director in June of 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Cal Poly, Pomona and master’s degree from the American Band College. He recently retired with 32 years in music eduction, having taught elementary through college band and orchestra in California and Oregon. His most recent position was the Director of Bands at Mountain View H.S. in Bend, Oregon. Ted remains active in the music scene while performing on clarinet with the Central Oregon Symphony, Cascade Winds and the Summit Express Jazz Band. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing in the Caribbean with his wife, Nancy.
