In 1997, James Curnow, James Swearingen, Johan de Meij and Jan Van der Roost were chosen as conductors of the four 150-member high school honor band at Western International Band Clinic in Seattle. At the same time, each agreed to create useful band warm-ups for their larger works.
Score and parts for each of these pieces appeared in the January-February 1998 Addition of Bandworld magazine back in the days when it was an in-print-only publication. For this unusual and special online version of Bandworld magazine, we have included the complete set of parts and scores online, where they are easily downloadable and printable.
Our sincere thanks once again to Amstel music, C.L. Barnhouse, de Haske Music and Curnow Music for these most special settings for the concert band.
