The Bellaire High School band is a growing program in the heart of Houston, Tx and the Houston Independent School District. The Bellaire Cardinal Bands have performed in Europe, Asia, and Australia, as well as all over the U.S. and Texas. Since Dr. Waltemath’s arrival, the band has become a consistent first division band program, and the Mighty Cardinal Marching Band has been to the U.I.L. area marching contest multiple times.
Dr. Waltemath has served as a Director of Bands in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. Dr. Waltemath’s bands have had great success and received numerous accolades. Dr. Waltemath is looking forward to the publication/ release of a new method book written with co-authors Dr. Scott Deppe and Mr. Dan Dudney entitled “A Modern Approach to Wind Performance”.
