A summer masters degree program for band directors now in its 25th year. Over 175 currently enrolled from 40+ states and 3 foreign countries. June 18-July 5 each summer. Degree conferred through Sam Houston State University (distance learning) in Ashland, Oregon. Almost 700 graduates in 14 graduating classes.

American Band College

A convention for directors and students. Now in its 34th year, WIBC features four 160-member high school honor bands under 6 world-renowned guest conductors and a soloist. Held in Seattle, Washington each November, this year’s convention features Peter Boonshaft, Paula Crider, Richard Saucedo, Tim Lautzenheiser, Frank De Vuyst, Larry Gookin, and vocal soloist, Yolanda Pelzer (U.S. Navy Band).
