Charles Ives is showcased with the Jonathan Elkus&nbsp;transcription of Decoration Day&nbsp;while From the Steeples and the Mountains&nbsp;is for trumpets, trombones (both tripled) and a quartet of chimes. Vincent Persichetti offers his Lincoln Address for band (MUC Courtney Williams:narrator) and Serenade No.1 Op.1 for double wind quintet. Aaron Copland is represented by&nbsp;Ceremonial Fanfare for Brass and his Red Pony Film Suite. Finally the music of William&nbsp;Schuman is Newsreel for Concert Band and the rarely performed Dances for Wind Quintet and Percussion.
