One surprise is a very rare performance of Mendelssohn\u2019s Trauermarsch Op. 103 (a long neglected original band work). Other pieces of interest include Overture &amp; March 1776 (Ives\/Sinclair), Miltarmarsch in E-flat Op. 57 No.1 (Richard Strauss\/J.H. Matthey) and Grand March to the Memory of Washington (Ole Bull\/Stig Nordhagen).
