What are my lodging and meal options while I attend ABC?
ABC has secured two hotel options for lodgings.
All reservation packages are for every night starting with June 18 and continuing through and including July 5. There are no reduced package prices for nights not occupied. First year candidates have entrance exams on June 19 and returning candidates can use that day to enjoy the area or work on projects. July 5 final exams and 3rd year comprehensives last until 5:00pm with all candidates required to participate in the Diagnostic Rehearsal Bands. Therefore, you can arrange your departure for July 6 coupled with the available motel night on July 5.
Hotel Lodging Packages
- All hotels are equipped with free internet, microwave oven, refrigerator, free parking, TV and 2 queen beds.
- Hotel packages include breakfast (at the hotel).
- All packages include lunch through ABC at the AHS Lower Commons (except June 18, 19, 26, 27, July 4). If you are NOT staying in our hotels, see info at the bottom on this page for meal options.
- Outdoor swimming pool.
- ABC offers no single hotel rooms due to tight limits in the number of available rooms in our block.
- A limited number of king rooms are available at the Ashland Hills Hotel and are reserved for couples.
- It is not allowable to switch hotels from week to week. Sign up for all needs via one hotel.
- Roommate requests will be honored ONLY when both people have signed up for the same motel.
- It is VERY IMPORTANT for roommate pairs to sign up within the same 24-hour period. Room slots are not saved for the eventual sign-up of a potential roommate. If rooms at a motel sell out, we will not move those who have signed up to accommodate a late-arrival roommate.

Ashland Flagship Inn
Distance to School (1/2 mile)
Ashland Hills / Windsor Inn Hotel Option***
Distance to School (2.1 miles) There is no hotel shuttle so plan to carpool or drive to Ashland High School.
NOTE: The KING lodging option is reserved for COUPLES. If you are a couple attending ABC, then each of you need to choose Ashland Hills Hotel (KING) option. If the spouse is not attending ABC as a candidate, the couple can indicate the spouse name at the time of registration and will be billed accordingly. If the spouse/partner is also an ABC candidate, register and request each other as roommates (within 24-hours).
*** This year due to a conference rescheduling from a COVID-19 cancellation, our friends at Ashland Hills are unable to accommodate us for the full time of our stay. We have been working with the Windsor Inn to put us up for the first 5 nights, then move over to Ashland Hills for the duration. Windsor Inn is directly across the street from Ashland Hills. If you select the Ashland Hills / Windsor Inn option for housing, you will be at Windsor Inn from June 18 to June 22, then move over to Ashland Hills for June 23 to July 6.
We know this isn't optimal, but it is the only way for us to still use the Hills for 2023. We have already secured the full time for our 2024 ABC.
To make things easier, we will be providing a secured U-Haul truck for people staying at Windsor to put their belongings in when checking out of Windsor before our first clinic on June 23 which will then be taken to Ashland Hills for everyone to get their things and check in after our day is done. We will also be adjusting our schedule to allow for time in the morning to get ready for the transfer.
If you wish to change your rooming selection to Flagship because of this, we would like you to do so as soon as possible to assure you can get into Flagship.***
If you are not staying in ABC housing (hotels), you can select different meal packages:
- Lunch only (no motel) for Session A will cover June 20-25 for $125.
- Lunch only (no motel) for Session B will cover June 28, 29, 30, July 1, 2, 3, and 5 for $125.
- Lunch only (no motel) for Session A & B will cover lunches through ABC (except June 18, 19, 26, 27, July 4) for $250.
- If you are staying in one of our ABC hotels, your meals are included in the lodging/meal package.
